CoreNet Global UK & UKGBC: ‘Delivering Occupier Health & Wellbeing’ Working Breakfast & Roundtable

When:  Feb 2, 2017 from 08:00 AM to 10:15 AM (UTC)
Associated with  United Kingdom

The case for wellbeing is well documented and generally accepted however the path towards implementation seems less clear.

Consensus is that there is more talk than action on how to deliver Health & Wellbeing within the workplace for both design standards and occupancy requirements. This is due to uncertainty in terms of; what constitutes a viable strategy; which strategy to follow amongst the myriad of Health & Wellbeing strategies on offer; and the impact on cost and/or programme. The solution lies somewhere between ‘what has the greatest near term benefit’ and ‘ease or cost of implementation’.

The UK Chapter of CoreNet Global, supported by the World Green Building Council, is embarking on a major programme as the ‘Voice of the Occupier’ on the delivery of health and wellbeing in offices for end users and their service providers.
The programme is set to promote end user requirements to the developer, landlord, agents and service provider communities; to set guidelines for CRE and SME occupiers on the least cost prohibitive and most effective strategies.

The working breakfast roundtable, hosted by Standard Chartered Bank, will bring end users and service providers - including transactional, delivery and design stakeholders - together to debate the strategies, the evidence, the barriers and the solutions.

All those who contribute on the day will be will be acknowledged in a research report following the event.
So if you’re keen to help shape the way health and wellbeing is approached in the world of corporate real estate book your place as soon as possible as places are limited at what is set to be one of the leading CoreNet UK events in 2017.

We look forward to seeing you there.
