21 November: Science and Technology Event

Yesterday morning, industry leaders and professionals gathered for an inspiring and thought-provoking Science and Technology Event. Thank you to everyone who joined us - your engagement made the session truly impactful. 

We are especially grateful to our outstanding panel of speakers -Tony Ng, Jo Atkinson, James Sheppard, Justin Cratty, Matt Bigam, and Tom Mellows - for sharing their time and expertise. The discussions highlighted the challenges and opportunities facing our industry, from sustainability and innovation to regulatory complexities and the integration of emerging technologies. 

A big thank you also goes to British Land for hosting us in such an exceptional venue, and to the Science and Technology Committee for their dedication in organising this event. 

One resounding theme emerged: collaboration is essential. By bridging academia, government, real estate, and science, we can tackle the multifaceted challenges of our industry and drive meaningful progress. 

We’re excited to carry these vital conversations forward through the Science and Technology Committee in 2025 and beyond. Together, we can shape the future of our industry and address the big questions that lie ahead.
