The UK Chapter’s Young Leaders Group focuses on the educational and networking needs of real estate professionals who are 35 years of age and under.

Our mission is to attract and retain future leaders by creating activities designed to encourage young professionals to participate and become actively engaged in the corporate real estate industry.

As a young leader you benefit from informal learning and structured training, gain qualifications and be taught the skills you need to lead from the front, in a global arena. You’ll be active in our Communities and eligible to join Community committees as the voice of Young Leaders.

As part of the goal to widen the understanding of Corporate Real Estate in the UK, the Learning and Development committee have been in contact with Reading, Oxford Brookes, CASS, UCL, Southbank and Westminster universities in order to promote CoreNet to the students studying Real Estate at university at Undergraduate and Masters level. Young Leaders - A focus on the benefits

The UK Chapter has 110 active Young Leader members made up of young talent from each of the Economic Developer, End User and Service Provider backgrounds. The UK Chapter’s mission is to grow and develop it’s occupier community through continuous learning and sharing and to become the go-to body for Corporate Real Estate knowledge. So far in 2016, the YL group has increased both it’s overall size and number of end user members by 20% - a small snapshot of some of the organisations represented include HSBC, Unilever, Shell, State Street, Prudential, Willis, PWC, Johnson + Johnson, Standard Chartered, RBS, Cushman + Wakefield, Colliers, JLL, CBRE, Gensler, Herman Miller, Instant and a load more! 2016 has also seen the re-organisation of the UK Chapter structure, with the set up of a series of Communities each with a YL lead working on them.

This has set a good platform for 2017 and below are some of the benefits of being part of the YL community:
